“This canvas was first painted with corrosive black ink. This way, when I started drawing the first layer with white paint the paint was sucked in by the black. After I dried the first layer of white paint i applied a second layer which didn’t get sucked in as much as the first layer, creating this vibrant pattern, white on black canvas.”
